Yes! Unless something has changed that I don't know about we have always allowed karts to run and will in the future, welcome to the area and NWOR.
Jeremy Clarkson - So, this was it, the final stint. I was tired out, I was sitting in a puddle of wee, the car was sick, and we had our main rivals bearing down on us.

Karts are allowed at the airport and at Chrysler. The other two sites, Honeywell and the Mall are not appropriate for karts. SCCA membership is required to run any event, and you have to join a region as part of it, so it might as well be NWOR.

We don't have a lot of karts locally. We get good turnout from Michigan for the airport events. My son runs a JR kart, but is often the only one running at the non-airport events.

I didn't think they were allowed at Chrysler anymore because of the posts being too difficult to create a course and keep safety regulations. :?:

SCCA Weekend Memberships good for one event only are included with the $40 fee for non-members at a NWOR Solo Event.

Find more information here:http://www.nworscca.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=21&Itemid=26

Also, according to the Event Information at MyAutoEvents it specifically states that Karts are not allowed at Honeywell or Tiffin, but there is no such statement for the Airport or Chrysler.

I'm planning on keeping things like they were last year at Chrysler. Jr Karts can come out, but if we don't have any pre-registered the course will be designed without Jr Kart constraints. If a Jr Karter shows up on the morning of the event then we'll deal with that by running them on an altered course in their own heat.

We had a pretty good course variety at Chrysler last year even though we maintained the 50' requirement at most of them.

To clarify, F125 can run at Chrysler and at the Airport. Honeywel specifically disallows all Karts in their contract with us. The lot at Tiffin mall is too bumpy to allow F125 I think.

If it "just works" you probably aren't trying to do something sufficiently cool with it.

Scott,

What type of kart do you run?
As has been mentioned, the Airport events typically draw a group of F125's from the lands to the North and East... Gotta love that concrete!

Intrepid shifter with TMK power . Might be selling soon. So much power and control that the kart needs to be on a race track not autocrossing. Took second in Vegas this past season only due to my mistake. If there are enough F-125's autocrossing I will probably get another kart to run with you guys.
I was hoping NORA will allow karts this season too since I only live 15 minutes from there. If not, I will travel to Toledo.
